Inventory Controller


  • Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelines
  • Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct amount of items are in stock with DC team
  • Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
  • Assess inventory output on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify trends in production stocks given to Warehouse
  • Maintain and monitor closely on monthly safety stock level in Warehouse to cater to ad-hoc request
  • Review and monitor product batch codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
  • Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs
  • Monitor transportation schedules and allocation of product distribution to all cartels in timely order manner base on requested fulfilment
  • Conduct Vendor Performance Review Quarterly / Half-yearly to monitor vendors performance services
  • Prepare, generate, and file inventory reports to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Assist Warehouse Operation Executive on safe work practices in a Distribution centre environment
  • Work closely with various departments to support requirements
  • Ensure all Distribution Centre / Warehouse documentations are maintained according to company policy
  • Maintain WMS & SAP system and daily cycle count accuracy
  • Assist in other duties in DC if required



  • Candidate must have at least 2 years of related experience in warehouse inventory management or equivalent
  • Minimum a Diploma Logistics / Supply Chain or related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) 
  • Sound knowledge in SAP and WMS
  • Able to work independently as well as a team player
  • Able to work well under tight deadlines and minimal supervision
